The pool Matt bought is an Aqua Leisure 60 inch portable, pop-up swimming pool. He bought it from One Step Ahead. We chose this pool for its size, price, and because it is portable. I like that there is only a small part that needs to be inflated and it can be filled with as much (or as little) water for the "swimmers". It is large enough for Tanner and Abigail to splash around together and could easily accommodate another infant (or two). It drains easily and, once it is deflated, folds up and fits into a bag that comes with it.

What a Difference a Year Makes
Last summer Tanner and Abigail went for their first (and only) swim in Lake St. George. I am not entirely sure they would have gone swimming at all if they weren't given bathing suits as a shower gift from Carol Thibodeau. We waited for a HOT day...not that it made a big difference in the outcome. Grandpa took Tanner and I had Abigail...they both cried...a lot.
This year, Matt bought them a small swimming pool for their birthday (see below). We set it up for the first time on Memorial Day. Abigail LOVED it the second she got in. It took Tanner a few minutes to adjust, but in the end he was splashing and laughing with his sister. We have used it three more time since Memorial Day and I am sure we will be using it a lot more this summer.
