Buckle Up!

Tanner's newest obsession is BUCKLES! With a look of concentration and determination, he could entertain himself for hours playing with the buckles on his car seat, stroller, or highchair if we let him.

Last week while we were at the Sr. Kopishke's house creatung the Hill and Gully Snowmobile float for Washington's Bicentennial parade, Tanner spent close to 45 minutes playing with the buckles on the stroller all by himself. He fiddled around with the front buckle and then cruised to the back to play with the other one. At one point he was placed in the rescue-boggan on the float where he preceded to play with the buckle for that too.

This week we are visiting my parents in Caribou and Tanner often crawls into the kitchen to play with the buckles of the booster seats. The other night after dinner he and my father were buckling and unbuckling them together for about five minutes. I predict that he will be unbuckling his (and Abigail's) way out of things in the near future.
