Make and Takes...I'll TAKE it!

Last week I stumbled upon a gem of a website that I thought I would share with my readers. I was searching the internet for an edible playdough recipe and I found one (and much more) on the Make and Takes website.

The Make and Takes website has several Mom (and Dad) friendly features with loads of cool stuff!

Kids Crafts: "Here you'll find all kinds of fun crafts, projects, tips, and activities for kids, many centered around the current holiday or season."

Home Projects: "Here you'll find all kinds of projects for your home, like home decor, home crafts, quick tips, and cleaning solutions."

Recipes:
"Here you'll quick and easy recipes, simple kitchen tips, and food crafts and activities for kids."

Family Time: "Here you'll find all kinds of articles about the family. There's parenting tips, activities for spending time with family, and ideas to share special moments with your loved ones."

After signing up for their newsletter I was given a FREE download for their Monster Mania Crafts for Little Monsters eBook which has fifteen fun monster themed crafts and recipes for kids.

Now that Tanner and Abigail are able to do simple crafts and activities I am constantly looking for fun things for us to do together. I have a feeling I will be checking this site out a lot in the future!

Peanut Butter Playdough
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. honey
2 c. powdered sugar

1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Store in an airtight container or plastic baggie with air sucked out.

Note: Spray your 1/2 cup with oil before measuring your honey and the honey will pour right out.

Here is a link to the Make and Takes article about edible playdough. It had a second recipe that I didn't make. I can't wait to try out the edible finger paint with Tanner and Abigail next week!
