Matt is an avid snowmobiler and since we have been together I have become an Arctic Cat girl too. Today he took Tanner and Abigail on their first snowmobile ride. He used the new harness that we bought at a local snowmobile/ATV distributor. We aren't planning to take them trail riding at all this winter so we haven't bought helmets for them yet (maybe Santa will get them some for Christmas next year).
One thing we hope to do frequently with Tanner and Abigail this winter is sledding! The Twinkies got new sleds from Grammy and Grandpa for Christmas and before today they had only used them once (the day after Christmas). Today Nadia and Grace came over for a play date and we spent an hour outside sledding.

One of the sleds that we used was the Paricon Toddler Boggan (made in South Paris, Maine). It has a high back offering support for the rider and it also has a lap belt to keep them seated and safe. We have two of these sleds and boy do they FLY!

Another sled that we have is the Paricon Winter Lightening (also made in Maine). It is longer and allows an adult to ride with a child or for two children to ride together. It goes just as fast as the Toddler Boggan.
Last Christmas Tanner and Abigail got an LL Bean Tandem Kid's Pull Sled. I pulled them around in it a few times last winter and this winter they have used it for sledding. It doesn't go as fast as the other sleds but it is great to use on packed snow.
With snow on the ground and the sun in the sky I look forward to many more days of snow fun with Tanner and Abigail.
Note: My in-laws bought the Paricon Toddler Boggan and Winter Lightening sleds at Reny's.
