When Abigail first began getting teeth (just after her first birthday) she had the occasional night were she had a difficult time settling down or would wake up once or twice in the night but we have yet to experience the horrors that other parents have with their teething children. We use ibuprofen once in a while but for the most part teething for Abigail hasn't been that bad (she now has seven teeth and several first year molars popping up).

Tanner got his first tooth this week (17 months old) and we have had no issues with him. He has three other teeth making their way through and we have yet to use ibuprofen with him at bedtime. He has shown no signs of pain or discomfort since his teeth have started coming in.
I don't know if Tanner and Abigail have higher tolerances for teething or if these amber teething necklaces do what they say they do. Either way, I plan to have them wear them until all their teeth come in...just in case.
Note: Amber teething necklaces are specially designed for babies three months and older. There is a knot between each amber bead and each necklace has a special safety clasp. The amber beads are small enough that they could be swallowed safely without creating a choking hazard.
