Basket Case

Tuesday was a rainy day here in Liberty. Since the Twinkies and I couldn't go for a walk or play outside, I had to get creative.

While they were having their morning nap I decided to build at "fort" for them to play in like I used to when I was a kid growing up in Caribou. How many of you did this as a child? I turned the Pack N' Play on it's side and laid blankets over the top. I put two pillows on the bottom for Tanner and Abigail to sit on and filled it with their favorite stuffed animals. When they woke up they had fun playing in and out of the "fort" all morning long.

Eventually I went into the kitchen to bake some cookies. While I was mixing ingredients I noticed Abigail walking through the kitchen to the laundry room. Tanner crawled into the kitchen to play with the magnetic letters on the fridge. After a few minutes I noticed that I didn't hear any sounds coming from Abigail in the laundry room and I went to check things out. This is what I saw...

She had knocked the laundry basket over and crawled inside to play with the dirty laundry. She was happy in there for a little while but then she got frustrated because she couldn't figure out how to get out.

I quickly ran to get the video camera. What Mom wouldn't want this on tape to show with her when she is older. I have to have something to share with the her first boyfriend along with the naked pictures of her in the tub, of course.
