Fabulous French Toast

This morning I made some french toast for everyone to enjoy...including Tanner and Abigail!


Fabulous French Toast

Servings: 4 (3 slices each)

3 eggs
2 C. milk
1 t. vanilla extract
1 pinch of ground nutmeg
2 T. sugar
12 slices bread
2 T. butter
  1. In a small mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, and sugar.
  2. Heat a griddle or large frying pan over medium heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in the frying pan.
  3. Dip one slice of the bread into the egg batter, then quickly take it out. Continue dipping bread slices, stirring the batter frequently, and laying the bread on the frying pan until no more bread will fit.
  4. Cook the slices for about 2 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread. Serve hot.
