Love Is In The Air

This week started out with the Super Bowl (which we don't need to talk about) and an ear infection for Abigail. Our little girl was having trouble sleeping through the night (which meant we were too), abnormally fussy, and at times inconsolable. After her second trip to see Dr. Russ in one week it was determined that her left ear was infected.

She had fallen asleep in her highchair during lunch four days in a row

Walking on the farm pond

Once the antibiotics had kicked in and Abigail was feeling (and sleeping) better we all ventured outside to enjoy the sunny, warm weather. Since there isn't much snow for sledding, we thought a walk on the farm pond wold be fun. It was all fun and games until Abby slipped and fell on the ONE small patch of exposed ice.
Tanner and Abigail got their hair cut Monday morning and made a new friend at the salon. Doreen was babysitting her granddaughter, Marina, so each Twinkie got to play with her and her toys while the other one got their hair trimmed.

I found a recipe for edible fingerpaint online so on Friday Tanner and Abigail fingerpainted for the first time! Jane had been watching the Twinkies while I was volunteering at school and stayed to help me tackle this potentially messy arts and crafts project. We had a lot of fun (as you can see in the video above).

Parker and Tanner riding over the ice

On Saturday the Hill and Gully Riders of Washington, Maine hosted their annual Snowfest on Washington Pond. I brought Tanner and Abigail down to meet up with their friend Parker. They had fun walking on the pond and being pulled over the ice.
