TOT School

Abigail and Tanner have really started noticing letters and shapesEverywhere we go Abby will say, "Look...A for Abby!" or Tanner will say, "Triangle!"  I thought it might be a good idea to really start doing some "educational" activities with them.
TOT School
While doing some research on the internet I stumbled upon a blog by a fellow "Mommy Blogger" called 1+1+1=1 Carisa is a homeschooling mom of three children and her site is FULL of wonderful printables and activitiesI was intrigued by TOT School which she describes in the following way:

"Tot School isn't really school at all!  Don't let the name confuse you!  Tot School is the time each day I spend with my tot, exposing early learning skills through FUN play.  Tot School is not forced, is always fun, sometimes doesn't happen the way I plan, and is always focused on my tot."

This was exactly what I was looking for and she had it all available for FREE on her blog and website.  I printed some Easter activites off and gave them to Tanner and Abigail this morning to work on while I ate breakfast.  They had fun using the dry erase markers and sorting pictures.

I am not sure how I will schedule our TOT School activites, maybe after breakfast a few mornings a week.  My plan (at the moment) is to work through the alphabet, one letter a week, using the materials on the TOT School site.  I have also been pinning additional early learning activities on my Pinterest page.

Here are some videos of Tanner and Abigail doing their very first TOT School activities just before Easter.
