I admit I have been very bad about allowing Tanner and Abigail to practice with open mouth cups lately. Things have been very busy here as I am sure they are in any home with toddlers. The Playtex Coolster Tumbler Cups that the Easter Bunny gave them for Easter this year are great! I feel they are a great way to transition from the spouted sippy cups to an open mouth cup, so I bought a second set. Now we have ten (maybe more) sippy cups, some with spouts and some without, but all with the same bottom and same valves.
I know that Playtex sells replacement valves for their cups but I wasn't sure if they sold replacement lids, so I called customer service to find out. I explained to the representative that I currently owned several of their sippy cups. I asked her if it was possible to buy replacement lids instead of buying more new cups. I told her it seemed wasteful to buy more cups when all I need are new lids to go on the bottoms that I already have.
The representative asked me what was wrong with the lids I had. I told her there was nothing wrong with the them, I was simply looking to switch to the spoutless lids since my children were getting older and transitioning to open mouth cups. She understood where I was coming from and told me she was going to send me three FREE spoutless lids! She asked if they were for a boy or girl. I told her they were boy/girl twins and she said she would send a variety of colors!
With customer service like this I will continue to buy Playtex products whenever I have the chance!
